Postdoctoral training had been obtained in Georgetown University from 1998 to 2001. Since the mid-November of 2014, Prof. Yun Wang joined the College of Life Sciences and Oceanography of Shenzhen University, as a senior research scientist, master supervisor, postdoctoral co-mentor, head of demonstration base of cooperative training graduate students, and medical advisor of Shenzhen HYK High-throughput Biotechnology Institute. As a project leader and principle investigator, Prof. Wang has been granted two sub-projects of the Key Program of Major National Science and Technology Plan issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, one sub-project of Sustainable and Developmental Project and one basic research project issued by the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission, respectively. Since 2016, Prof. Wang has published more than 20 academic papers, submitted 10 invention patents and granted two patents. In addition, she has been opening 3 courses on scientific research and innovation, and guided dozens of postdocs, Doctoral students, Master students, undergraduates, and collaborators off-campus to study on risk factors and the pathogenesis of chronic diseases.
